Jamie Utley

Jamie is the Co-Founder and President of Business Minds Research and Development, an industry leader in unlocking peak performance working with companies such as Adobe, Wells Fargo, Liberty Mutual, University of Utah, 1800 Contacts and many other companies nationwide.

With over 10,000 hours on stage, Jamie has assisted thousands in winning the “head game” through his personal belief and coaching style that “true leadership begins with self-mastery”. Jamie’s ability to connect be it 1 to 1 or 1 to 100, is rooted in his unique ability to be passionate about anything he chooses to be passionate about. Through his stores, enthusiasm, humor and deep love of people, Jamie connects in a real way with real life experiences because, just like you, he is in the trenches, experiencing the very realness of life and its many lessons.

Prior to Business Minds, Jamie started his first successful company at the age of 19. After developing, growing and eventually selling that business just 12 years later, Jamie had the unique freedom to take some time off to tour 37 states before deciding what he wanted to do when he grew up.
Jamie studied Elementary Education specializing in Sociology and Psychology at Brigham Young University. Jamie paired his educated with his love for people and desire to make a difference and created a personal development company in 2007 that focused on the power of choice and how to apply real tools in a real way to create lasting change.

In 2013, Jamie’s career grew yet again, when he partnered with his good friend and now business partner Adam Robison, to take what Jamie had spent a lifetime of learning and teaching to the corporate world where Jamie now spends most of his time facilitating executives and corporate teams in the art of accountability, self-awareness, and how to become a master of influence.

Jamie is also an avid outdoorsman, finding nature to be his best teacher and anchor. He particularly enjoys hiking, backpacking in the backcountry, camping, canoeing and fishing (just ask him about the biggest fish he ever caught) He eagerly counts down the days to his annual 50-mile backpacking trip in the Wind River range in Wyoming. Jamie also has a passion for traveling anywhere he can put his toes in the sand, experiencing new places, and spending time with his four boys, McKay, Sampson, Adler and Oliver.
